Mất đất ở lại

Chỉ tình cảnh phải rời bỏ nơi ở cũ hoặc mất chỗ dựa vật chất nhưng vẫn cố bám trụ, tiếp tục sinh sống tại đó. Thường dùng để nói về sự lưu luyến quê quán hoặc hoàn cảnh khó khăn buộc người ta phải ở lại dù đã mất nhiều thứ.

It refers to a situation in which one loses property or a former base of support but still stays on and continues living there. It is often used for attachment to one’s homeland or for hardship that forces someone to remain despite great loss.
